Уважаемые форумчане!
Встретился я недавно с таким МФУ от фирмы Ricoh на котором не написано (стрелось) название его модели. Как теперь подобрать драйвер к нему, если я не знаю как он называется? Команда "lsusb", говорит, что просто подключен Ricoh Co. Ltd и все.
Как узнать модель подключенного к компьютеру МФУ... (...если она не написана на самом устройстве?)

Пишите правильно:
в консоли вку́пе (с чем-либо) в общем вообще | в течение (часа) новичок нюанс по умолчанию | приемлемо проблема пробовать трафик |

Подробнее можно и через # udevadm monitor посмотреть, или в выводе dmesg, или в том же lsusb (для этого у lsusb есть параметры). Если принтера в вашей базе устройств {pci,usb}.ids нет, то гуглить по идентификаторам производителя и продукта (vid:pid).

Да не нужно никаких параметров. Он без параметров показывает номер шины, устройства на шине и его идентификатор. Вот по этому идентификатору и ищите.
