проблема с жестким диском

Добрый день. Это мой первый опыт работы с Linux. Есть сервер Dell,если правильно понял,
у него есть рейд контроллер Dell Perc H700. Стоит Ubuntu 16.04 LTS 64-разрядная desktop и samba. Сервер находится в домене. До определенного момента все работало хорошо и был доступ к шаре на сервере. Потом в один момент пропал доступ и шара визуально то появляется то исчезает.
В конфиге smb.conf в секции Share Definitions нашел секцию path, как мне кажется,там прописан путь к шаре, которая пропала. По этому пути указанной папки нет. На сервере сейчас есть массив 12 ТБ, доступа к которому нет. Есть предположение, что это и есть отвалившийся раздел. Пробовал монтировать его но выдает ошибку: mount: /dev/sdb: can't read superblock.
Информации о том был ли это рэйд нет. Сервер достался уже настроенным.
test disk выдает при анализе диска выдает partition read error.
Подскажите, пожалуйста, как можно узнать что произошло с сервером? Где можно посмотреть логи и как можно восстановить инфрмацию. Еще такой нюанс, возможно это тоже как-то связано, при старте сервера есть ошибка что батарея рейд контроллера разряжена.

Смотрите smartctl -a /dev/sdb (если такой команды нет, надо установить пакет smartmontools). Если это аппаратный RAID, ничего вразумительного в выводе, скорее всего, не будет, и надо будут использовать спец. софт для работы с ним.

Ну да, RAID. Попробуйте сделать, как советует smartctl:

N — это номер диска, насколько я понимаю.
То есть sudo smartctl -a -d megaraid,0 /dev/sdb и т. д., увеличивая цифру до последнего диска.

Сложно сказать, насколько всё в порядке или не в порядке с дисками. На многих есть по несколько перемещённых секторов (5 Reallocated_Sector_Ct), на 4 ещё какая-то ошибка в логе, но, вроде бы, ничто не указывает на то, что какой-то диск уже совсем сыпется. Надо бы всё-таки делловским софтом воспользоваться, чтобы оценить состояние массива(ов), да и вообще понять, как он собран. И посмотрите sudo dmesg — там наверняка должны быть ошибки в момент отвала.
Ну и, традиционно, проверьте/замените шлейфы.
