как сделать, чтоб программы, которые свернуты, при открытии таких-же из той же группы добавлялись в эту группу , а не создавалась новая... все отлично работает , при том, когда запускаю программу, если программы не свернуты.. таб появляется там, где нужно)) вот мой ~/.fluxbox/groups

я conky настроил... оказалось дело было в шрифтах.

xftfont Verdana:size=9 с этим шрифтом в .conkyrc небыло табуляции в процессах
xftfont Bitstream Vera Sans Mono-9 а с этим зарабатало)

но шрифт мне больше нравится первый(с которым не работает).... дык как мне сделать чтоб с ним конки табы делал? в процессах? вот, что пока вышло..

ничего не трогая в исходниках, и не используя сторонних панелей - нет. хотя в планах создателей флукса вроде и кнопка пуск и "кнопки" для быстрого вызова приложений вроде как есть.

сделать xinitrc для fluxbox'а и выбирать custom session. странно что не прописывается - у меня все работало в етче.

хмм.. уперся пока в кривое отображение некоторых приложений во флуксе (evolution, revelation..). вместо некоторых (!) картинок на кнопках и др. иконках ничего не отображается (кресты).
тема gtk прописана в ~/.gtkrc-2.0, fluxbox собран естественно с поддержкой gnome. в PATH для сеансов gnome/xfce(работает) и флукса вообщем то нет (только свои diff). может намекнет кто, в какую сторону курить...

Так ведь, если шрифт без русской кодировки, то отображаются закорючки или квадраты. А у меня то вообще ничего нет! Если нет шрифта, то по логике вещей должен быть шрифт по умолчанию (кстати, а он есть?). Я просто понять не могу, по какой причине символы могут не отображаться вообще.

У меня была такая же ситуация. Дело всё оказалось в локали, которая по странным принчинам была "C". Проблема
решилась установкой переменных LANG и LC_ALL.

Никак не могу определить wm_class у тулбара, команда xwininfo имени не дает,

то же самое и с xlsclients, а xprop вообще молчит как партизан.

так вот и нужно указать в настройках xxkb wm_class приложения, которое будет проигнорировано в плане прорисовки флажка...

устанавливаю таким образом картинку на фон в флуксе, а она располагается в левом верхнем углу экрана(картинка 1024*768, а разрешение экрана 1280*1024). как растянуть картинку? п.с. на другом компе вроде все нормально устанавливается такой командой.

Утилита fbsetbg сама по себе не устанавливает обои, она делает это при помощи внешней программы. Устанавливаете, feh, к примеру, выполняете

не собирал. но в debian'овском unstable он уже есть. работает. особых глюков не заметно.

я вот недавно поигрался с этим dpkg-reconfigure fonctconfig-config ... Autohiner->Automatic->yes шрифты в т.ч. в самом флуксе на ноуте стали читабельнее, правда кое-где надо подкрутить еще ...

вот в таком ключе сейчас: http://muaddeep.googlepages.com/fluxbox-fonts.png не знаю насколько это хорошо или плохо, мну за шрифты часто ругают для мну это пока самый читабельный вариант в дебиане.
