всем здарова ))))
я хочу себе ща взять ноут IBM ThinkPad X22 - на нем проц 733 либо 800 Мгц + оперативка 256 (думаю сразу сменить на 512)....вроде по описанию максимум оперативки 640 Мб...можно ли гиг поставить ??? иль ограничение в материнке ???
у кого нить есть подобный девайс ??? :tongue: Были ли какие-то проблеммы с установкой ????

Приветствую форумчане, недавно приобрел toshiba satellite L40-14B, кроме вай-фай все заработало, если кому удалось его запустить подскажите как. edubuntu 7.10 с LXF98. Зарание спасибо.

У меня возник трабл после настройки dpkg-xserver xorg пропал звук. Что бы это могло быть? На ноуте крутится Дебиан. Ноут MSI V600

нет, только 640 .ThinkPad X20, X21, X22, X23, X24 Hardware Maintenance Manual (March 2002)

CMOS - маленький, туда такое не влезет. А по поводу Acronis - я брал самую последнюю версию. Старые версии Acronis, действительно ничего сделать не могли.

Доброе время суток!
столкнулся с такой проблемой:
имеется ноутбук AcerAspire 5102AWLMi, имеется 2 операционные системы WinXP и Mandriva 2008 PP
также имеется всеми известная сетевая карточка Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC
одним прекрасным днём ось (Мандрива) перестала видеть эту карточку, причем как то странно, интерфейс eth0 есть, поднимается, пишет что работает, но ни одна лампочка на сетевой не горит(
Решился на повторную переустановку, карта заработала!!... но ровно до первой перезагрузки( после чего снова такая же проблема
что посоветуете, уважаемые эксперты? Сам я не сильно разбираюсь в линуксе, сеть худо-бедно настроить смогу, но что касается оборудования и ядра - для меня тёмный лес
выводы комманд lspci, lsmod, dmesg, ifconfig прикладываю ниже
З.Ы.: Поиском пользовался,даже нашёл где то похожую проблему, но там всё решилось перестановкой карты из одного слота в другой, у меня к сожалению так не получиться((..а в винде кстати всё работает

Как установить Wi-Fi adapter?

Вопрос с Wi-Fi отпал сам по себе после апрельского обновления.

Но с обновлениями я бы посоветовал не торопится, сначала лучше определится с пакетами и возможными настройками и сконфигурировать систему, а потом обновлять

Ждущий и спящий режим на лаптопе

У меня на лаптопе (Tosiba Satellite-5005, Mandriva Powepack-2008/GNOME ) не работает спящий и ждущий режимы,
вернее в режим компьютер входит, но при выходе (включении) я получаю либо черный либо белый экран.


Можно ли что нибудь сделать? Или ждать нового обновления Мандривы?

у меня ASUS F3Ke есть проблема когда втыкаешь наушники звук в динамиках пропадает. Проблема в том что програмно можны выключить только звук в наушниках. а не на динамиках.
очень хотелось бы решить проблему. так как работаю с букой по ночам и люблю слушать музыку, а будить всех не хочу.

WiFi настроен и работает. после установки вот такой вот штучки madwifi-ng-r2756+ar5007

Я так понял, нужно чтобы при втыкании наушников выключались динамики? Если пользуешься KDE, то там где-то в KMix есть такая опция - "Headphones Jack Sense", которую надо включить. Мне, во всяк, в свое время помогло :)

Есть закладка выключатели. Там HeadPhones оон отключает наушники, а не системные динамики.

Может маленько не в тему, но замучило любопытство.
FreeBSD (OpenBSD) ктонибудь на ноуты ставил? Как обстоит дело с железом? Да и ваапще какие грабли могут быть.

Так там есть KPowersave - вот в нём и настраиваются режимы энергосбережения, или можно ещё KLaptop поковырять.

Интегрированое видео и память

Приветствую.
Попытаюсь сформулировать вопрос:
Есть ноутбук acer 2920z с интегрированной видео картой на базер 865 intel чипсета. У видео карты своей памяти 8mb, в windows (vista предустановленная) выделяется доля RAM (обычное дело как и всегда с интегрированным железом) соотвественно при 2gb RAM (макс. на этой модели) в сумме получаем VRAM 358mb.
В линуксе Ubuntu 7.10 x64 и openSuse 10.3 x64 судя по системной информации и быстро действенности 3d приложений работает только базовая VRAM 8mb. Вопрос как и возможно ли в принципе "подсосать" RAM?

Уточнение:
В биосе настроек нет, биос был перепрошит до версии 1.13.
Гуглил и искал по различным(разноязычным Smiley ) форумам и блогам - инфы не нашел, единственное, что часто встречается так это обратный процесс перекачки VRAM to RAM.

Господа, посоветуйте ноутбук для линукса, основные требования - большой и качественный экран, наличие выхода DVI, видеоадаптер на котором будет работать xrandr то есть либо радеон либо интел, обязательно wi-fi, обязательно cf картридер, и нужно чтобы ВСЕ девайсы полностью работали в линуксах... Ноутбук предполагается использовать для работы с текстом, так что мощный процессор и много памяти не нужно... Бюджет не лимитирован...
PIV 2.4GHz, 1.5GB RAM, Nvidia 7600GS && Xinerama, 420GB hdd

Убунта приживется на старом ноуте с Р2-300 и 192 метрами оперативки? В ноуте комбинированный чипсет, часть от 443ВХ часть от 371АВ/ЕВ.

Ubuntu is available for PC, 64-Bit and Mac architectures. At least 256 MB of RAM is required to run the desktop install CD. Install requires at least 4 GB of disk space.

колеблюсь между конфигурацией на базе амд (турион х2 2,1ггц) с двумя гигами оперативы и интелом меньшей частоты (двойная дуо кора 1,8 ггц) с гигом оперативы.

кто из них предпочтительнее с точки зрения работы с базами данных? ну и какие мысли про фотошоп скажете.
ну и в плане работы с Линухом...

прост реально разброс цен приличный, а с деньгами напряг

Коре дуо с частотой 1.8 точно взувает АМД с 2.1 (сечас кстати на частоту вобще нету смысла смотреть), на ноут с гигом можно доставить еще одну планку и будет тоже два
