Я мог бы, только у меня не очень-то получилось восстановить события по предыдущим трем страницам. Насколько я понял, вы имеете прямое отношение к предмету спора и должны быть в курсе. Не могли бы вы - может, вместе с кем-то - коротко изложить историю конфликта? Буквально по пунктам - кто, что сделал, где, когда, зачем.

andrq.org claims he doesn't care about legal issues in general and GPL
violations in part. He awares his behaviour violates GPL but the guy jerks
around and calls GPL developers "fanatics". He refused to contribute the
changes to source code just because he doesn't want to do it, and claimed
that he ignored GPL in the past, he ignores GPL now and he will ignore GPL in
the future. Here is one of the quotes from

"I have already answered that I do not want to open the source code because my
work was used by assholes who write alternative versions of &RQ, like
BlackRat. This was discussed a thousand of times at the old forum and here. I
feel too lazy to explain my point every time... By the way BlackRat opens the
source code of his &RQ so why don't you use it instead? Especially because he
says that his version is more functional than mine."
(anonymous)- I got e-mail from Rejetto in which he noticed that I will get in
couple of days by regular mail attorney paper for representing his interests
and rights in GPL violation case. Get ready, jerk.
(project leader)- "LOL! Viva communism!" (smile)

I dare to point at a full of disrespect-to-others style when the project
leader describes his position, and a kind of absolute belief that GPL is just
an empty sound. It was uttered many times in private icq talks with many
intelligent people in intelligent manner, I do have some statistics.

In short, the controversy developed around a Windows ICQ client, named &RQ and distributed through http://andrq.org
Its leader and author of &RQ (name) wrote his client using the code he had obtained from http://www.rejetto.com/&RQ/. In defiance of numerous requests, he refused to make available the changes he made in the code, thus violating the principal GPL requirement.

The leader of the project andrq.org has repeatedly stated that "he does not care about legal issues in general and the GPL in particular". He is fully aware that his actions are a gross violation of the GPL but continues to defy the concerned community, calling the GPL developers "fanatics". Obviously, he refuses to contribute the changes he made in the source code just because he does not want to do it, and asserts that he "ignored GPL in the past, he ignores GPL now and he will ignore GPL in the future".

I hope this depicts the complete disrespect to others that the project leader shows in describing his position, and his total confidence that GPL is just an empty sound. The same idea was expressed many times in private icq talks with many intelligent people in an intelligent manner, I have some statistics that attest to my statements.
