Ага, я уже видел твой ответ у них на форуме... А что касается UUID - они вовсю используются в убунте, и там таких проблем не возникает. Но как их использовать в мандриве - я не знаю. И вообще при их использовании файл fstab выглядит как-то непривычно...

Сдается мне, что 2008-ю мандриву следует рассматривать как некий переходный (и, следовательно, не всегда корректно работающий) вариант. Они внедряют сразу очень много нового на уровне системы, но времени на отладку явно не хватило - пришлось выпускать то, что успели сделать. Вот весной 2008.1 должна быть уже более-менее нормальной. Может, к тому времени и KDE4 успеют включить в дистр.

товарищи! не могу поставить apache скачал one подключил источники... в списке установщика нет не apache не httpd .. что выбрать.. главное все остально дла апач есть.. конфиги разработка модули.. а где сам апач????

Здравствуйте! Хотя я еще новичок в мире Линуса, тем не менее сегодня скачал и установил (путем обновления с 2007.0) с образа DVD, в принципе полет нормальный, единственно, с чем возникла проблема, так это c подключением зеркал, а имеено при загрузке списка выдается сообщение об ошибке:

mirror list is not found at /usr/lib/libDrakX/mirror.pm line 77

в принципе как я понял проблема в отсутствии списка зеркал в этом файле; если это так или не совсем так, в любом случае подскажите как это исправить.

Скачал Powerpack 2008 (есть аккаунт клуба). Отлично! Все работает и работает очень корректно. Были проблемы с 2007 PP spring. Самба дурила поначалу, потом приручил. И др. мелкие шероховатости. Сейчас этих проблем нет. Вывод: не членам клуба покупать PP 2008. Не жмитесь, DVD-Box стоит не дорого: 1850 руб. по предзаказу. Заодно поддержите любимую ось.

RC - это Release Candidate, грубо говоря предварительная тестовая версия.

Спасибо, так работает, только русские имена директорий кривые: ?ок?мен?? Так называется /home/user/Документы.

А можно удалить файл русской локализации /usr/share/locale/ru/LC_MESSAGES/mc.mo

такого файла у меня нет.

Да, и еще - а как ты запускаешь mc? В окне консоли иксов или в текстовом VT? В первом случае проблема может быть просто со шрифтами, а во втором - в файле /etc/sysconfig/keyboard.

одинаково, что в иксах, что в терминале(<ctrl>+<alt>+F1) Пробовал менять шрифты - не помогает.

на диске в подкаталоге i586 должен быть файл version (по крайней мере, так было в 2007.*, 2008 еще не видел)

Так установщик все пишет..., когда загружется диск, то он пишет, кто он... - воткни посмотри

Значит ставлю я 2008. Воткнул диск , стал ждать... инсталлятор на 5 с +!! Красота... Как я был поражет от инсталятора 2007, 2008 меня восхитил еще больше. Все система встала...предсказуемо не завелись иксы. Ну да - не беда, захожу в консоль, логинюсь, набираю mc ,а мне консоль и говорит - не знаю я мол такой команды.... Вот тут я и офигел... не настолько мандрива и суперзапускающийся дистр, чтобы все работало только из каробки.. даже во фришке 2007 , и то был мс. ну да ладно.. выдергиваю mc-4.6.1-6mdv2007.1.i586.rpm пробую инсталить,
а он мне пишет, мол нету liblang.so.1 Ладно, черт с тобой... погуглил, нашел libslang1-1.4.9-7mdk.i586.rpm - установил...вслед за ней, поднял и мс. Перед установкой видеодров NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9755-pkg1.run, наученный горьким опытом, пытаюсь установить kernel-source-2.6.22.9-1mdv-1-1mdv2008.0.i586.rpm. А консоль мне и говорит - у тебя дружок нету:

теперь как я понимаю, мне нужно искать в дистре эти пакетики и доустанавливать? и когда лазию по виндовым дискам, после приглашения консоли (когда сижу в мс) пишется "ВНИМАНИЕ: НЕВОЗМОЖНО ПЕРЕЙТИ В /mnt/win_t" -это то место, в котором как раз я нахожусь...и куда накидал rpm-ок

Это глюк совместимости нового bash и старого mc - пакеты для libslang и mc надо было брать родные из репозитария для 2008-й мандривы! (т.е. mc-4.6.1-17mdv2008.0 и libslang2-2.1.1-1mdv2008.0.)

Я сразу в установщике выбираю ветку Develop, чтобы спокойно все ставить из исходников.
И кстати во многих случаях можно обойтись без mc, я его в консоле запускаю только когда надо выделить много разных файлов/папок.

У меня привычка с 3 нортона сидеть в чем то синеньком просто и когда в консоли - то всегда почти автоматом набираю мс.

значит поставил ветку Develop - и спокойненько поставил kernel-source-2.6.22.9-1mdv-1-1mdv2008.0.i586.rpm. Начинаю ставить видео дрова, как всегда killall kdm. Запускается инсталер NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9755-pkg1.run и пишет всякие гадости про какой то модуль "nvidia.ko" который всему мешает
Кто понимает, посмотрите пожалуйста

мде, с nvidia аналогично, пробовал все с x86-100.14.03 по x86-100.14.19
и с Opera бред какой-то творится, а мозилу терпеть не могу.
если сегодня не решу проблему хотябы с nvidia, вернусь на 2007.1

значит поставил ветку Develop - и спокойненько поставил kernel-source-2.6.22.9-1mdv-1-1mdv2008.0.i586.rpm. Начинаю ставить видео дрова, как всегда killall kdm. Запускается инсталер NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9755-pkg1.run и пишет всякие гадости про какой то модуль "nvidia.ko" который всему мешает
Кто понимает, посмотрите пожалуйста

установи дрова из репозитария... там есть уже собранные дрова с поддержкой 3D и всё такое..

собсно сначала сделал апгрейд .. чесно говоря 2007.1->2008.0 не оч удался (наверное руки кривые) поставил начисто

запустил из "Настройка компьютера" настройки иксов и там мне предложили установить закрытый драйвер для нвидиа... подождал пока загрузится.. перезагрузился и всё ок.. и логотип и 3д и компиз...

У меня иксы ваще не стартуют, сижу в голой консоли (только поставил мс) и пытаюсь поставить драйвер , который взял с последнего LFX ( логично что официальный драйвер должен ставиться на любую систему??. А с репозитария ставить, у меня инет стоит 2,5 руб за метр, то есть рубелей 50 улетит, а я почти в минусе сижу.

Безусловно и им тоже. Но не все. Да и не жалко за хороший продукт (например LinDVD) немного заплатить.

Мандрива 2008 вышла и теперь доступна для загрузки. тут написал про первые впечатления.
Драйвера от Nvidia устанавливал вручную - версии 100.14.9. Как и другие был удивлён отсутствием МС. Работает щас всё стабильно, хорошо.
Мой аппарат - PIII-667/512 Mb на матери Intel 815/Nvidia Geforce FX 5200-128/Ultra ATA 80Gb+SATA 160GB. В 2007-й был глюк - во время установки винт SATA подключённый через контроллер был SDA, поле установки USB порты доп.карты - USB 2.0, на матери только 1.1, стали как SDA, SDB, SDC, SDD а винт стал SDE. Правил fstab, вот в таких случаях МС помогает жить.
