Vmware shared folders (@guest.linux-suse9.3)

Господа, может кто сталкивался? После установки vmware tools /mnt/hgfs пустая. Поискал в vmware knowledge base там мол говорят надо бутиться с selinux=0 и заработает.
Фигов тачка. Есть идеи?

Попробовал переустановить, вот в конце нашел что оказывается не собирается модуль vmhgfs отвечающий за эти самые shared folders. Что можно посоветовать?

Эта проблема решается также как и прикрепленная тема о VMWARE.
Можно удалять, или добавить туда

Кстати возник еще вопрос, у всех в vmware guest-linux только в 800х600 грузится?
mkinitrd -s 1024x768
приводит к пропаданию bootsplash-а вообще

не пойму кокого "gcc" ему надо. Пожалуйста знатоки не поленитесь ответить, если можно подробно.

в дистре ищи пакет gcc

а ты его сам читал? я - нет и пока не испытываю острой необходимости прочтения 10465 строчек текста. после такого, я думаю, у человека всякое желание использовать линукс пропадет

я же не предлагаю читать его ВЕСЬ, но если человек не знает, ЧТО ТАКОЕ gcc, то прочитать начало мана ему точно не помешает...имхо.
