Nvidia-drivers

Не работают nvidia-drivers. Собираются нормально. Ставятся, модуль успешно загружается. Иксы успешно стартуют, в логах вроде все норм. Но на мониторе картина Казимира Малевича )-: монитор просто отключается, видимо сигнал не идет. Карточка Нвидиа210, дровишки 185 версии. На карточке три выхода: VGA, HDMI, DVI. Монитор втырнут в VGA выход, а переходника нету. Дрова переключают выход на ДиВиАй, а ВГА выход выключается. Что делать?

glx и включал и выключал. Option "ConnectedMonitor" "CRT-0" и убирал и вместо CRT-0 писал CRT-1 и CRT0 и ваще никаких изменений.

nvidia-xconfig запускал, с таким конфигом тоже самое.
Больше всего меня смущает строка в логе

И аналогичная ситуация: черный экран. Я просто потерян. Ведь в логах все хорошо. Как так бывает? С новыми дровами тож самое. Мож Иксы поновее ставить?

У меня офф драйвер nvidia определяет на мониторе 1440х900 только 640х480 и 800х600.
Опенсурс драйвер nv определяет разрешение, но то, что творится после запуска иначе как калейдоскоп назвать нельзя. Цветовая бессмыслица на экране, где можно еле-еле разглядеть контрастирующие кнопки.
Как можно заставить драйвер nvidia определить разрешения монитора так же как это делали fglrx и ati на карте radeon?

Попробовал с дровами 190.53 снова в конце лога строка

и снова картина Малевича. Чтобы увидеть что-то на экране помогает только перезагрузка.
Но комп не висит, то есть перезагрузка не кнопкой reset, а просто

Товарищи! классическая проблема(( "черный экран" обычно вылечивалось само собой! а сейчас не могу вправить мозги своему xorg-server

Поставил funtoo на ноутбук, ядро 2.6.38.2-zen x86_64
видеокарта nVidia GT330M
Поставил xorg-server и драйвера nvidia (modprobe nvidia,eselect opengl set nvidia успешно) настроил xorg.conf

startx дает зловещий черный экран, но этож не беда, такое видел много раз уже.. потом ставил kde и все работало.
А сейчас что-то не могу победить уже разных версий драйверы vidia-drivers-260......270.41.03 и
ставил и разные xorg-server
сейчас стоит не самый последний

Симптомы крайне похожи на проблему настройки клавиатуры и мыши, можно попробовать покопать в сторону evdev и т.п.. Если xorg из последних и hal выпилен, то тогда советую пересобрать также xf86-input-evdev, xf86-input-keyboard, xf86-input-mouse, xf86-input-synaptics (собирать, конечно, поддержку последнего только для обладателей чатпадов).
Не уверен, что поможет, но хотя бы попробовать.
