OpenSUSE 11.2 проблема с X-ми (не стартует kdm)

Установил openSUSE 11.2 на машинку Lenovo ThinkCenter 9640-7EG.
Установка пакетов прошла в штатном режиме без каких-либо проблем. При переходе инсталлятора к секции кофигурирования устройств, графический режим не загрузился, продолжил установку в текстовом режиме. Если не считать данного факта установка прошла нормально. После окончания установки не загрузились KDE, после перезагрузки также зайти в графичекую оболочку не получилось.

Проверил. В Убунте (LiveCD) такой проблемы не наблюдается. Но Убунта мне точно не нужна.

sax2 сейчас работает только из консоли, в 11.3 насколько я понимаю вообще его убрали, так что привыкать к нему не стоит, мне он лично в 11.2 не разу ни помог, xorg.conf не используется в 11.2.
Можно попробовать (при наличии подключения к сети) запустить zypper ve (верификация пакетов), а потом zypper dup (полное обновление дистрибутива). Но это самый простой способ!

Новый Xorg может работать и без xorg.conf, но это не значит что его нельзя использовать

Попробовал все рецепты! Ничего не помогло. Поскольку компьютер на работе и для работы, а простои не приветствуются, пришлось поставить Убунту! В ней все работает. Жаль!

Честно говоря, ничего там не решено! Баг ушел при переходе с openSUSE 11.1 Beta 3 на Beta 4. У меня баг в 11.2.

Присоединюсь к теме, так как мой вопрос немного похож. Ближе к делу -

Имеется OpenSuSE 11.2 x64. Работала исправно, только процесс Х-ов неплохо отжирал процессорное время. Гугл направил на форумы сюзи а уж оттуда я попал на багтрекер кедов. Из обоих источников я понял, что проблема в необходимости обновления части кед, иксов и разборками с "Системным лотком" - областью уведомлений. При обновлении Х-ов - до версии 7.5 libdrm также обновилась. После перезагрузки Х не стартовали, при вводе в консоли startx я получил примерно следующее:

Заранее прошу прощения, за неполный вывод - на фотографию не все уместилось, а потом фотик отказался работать

После этого я один раз смог запустить кеды, но не работала мышка и клавиатура. Начал устанавливать - параллельно установился xorg-x11-server (если не ошибаюсь). После установки этого пакета все повторилось - не загружается графический режим.

В гугле ничего подобного не нашел, поэтому прошу помощи здесь.

попробуйте поставить в текстовом режиме

после установки sax2 -r -m 0=vesa

Если поможет, то у нас схожая проблема. Пытался несколько раз уже описать, но все никак не получается. Фича-реквест почему-то не пашет.
