Медленно работает ФС

Как-то очень медленно копируются файлы на OpenSuSe 11.3, на том же 11.2 скорость копирования составляла около 45-50 МБ/с, а cейчас больше 30 МБ/с не поднимается, при этом вся система еле двигается. Фильм при просмотре тормозит, музыка заикается. Копирование производится на разные диски, с ФС ext3/ext4, диски SATA, Seagate 120 и 500 Гб, одно-пластинные. Которое подключены на контроллер ICH10, включен режим AHCI.

P.S.: На NTFS скорость была 60-80 МБ/с.

а диски не проверяли на ошибки? (с помощью smartctl)

Винчестеры случайно не с 4 килобайтным сектором ? А то на них замечена такая проблема

также может быть большая фрагментация

или режим доступа не тот (типа PIO а не DMA)|

или мешает какойто процесс

Если остальные 417 ошибок такие же, как и пять показанных (а это вероятнее всего так) - то нет.
