Его тут нет.

Подразумевается, что вы его должны добавить сами. Логично же? А еще посмотрите в сторону утилиты xrandr

добавил строку , ни чего не происходит. с помошью xrandr тоже попробывал , задаю разрешение 1024х768, выдает типо не найден данный размер . что делать ?

А куда вы добавили эту строку? Секция Screen должна выглядеть примерно так:
