Беспроводная карта wl-2054g
Добрый день! Имеется беспроводная карта pheenet 2054g... Необходимо настроить ее под линукс. Карта на основе чипсета Prism Gt. Под винду карта работает под драйерами PRISMA00.sys, PRISM02.sys, и PRISM03.sys. В линуксе я только начинающий.
Под винду карта работает нормально, однако под линукс она вообще не определяется, т.е lspci вообще не выдает никакой информации об этой карте. Поискав по нету я нашел, что вроде как можно запустить подобные карты через ndiswrapper... Соотвественно установил виндовые дрова этой прогой, все вроде бы прошло удачно, однако карта все еще никак не определяется. Я так понимаю надо связать эту карту с этими драйверами. Как это сделать?

Да забыл. Дистрибутив линукс kanotix, основанный debian 2.6.11
пробовал на суси 10.1 и мандрива 2006 тоже самое.

у меня карточка тоже на чипсете Prism.
завелась с пол пинка - перекомпилируй ядро с поддержкой Prism чипсетов и нужно с prism54.org скачать firmware.
а то, что не показывается в lspci - странно!

В ядре поддержка призма вроде бы включена. Как это проверить? Просто линукс не видит карту. Возможно ли вручную указать что данному устройству нужны данные дрова?

1. беспроводная карта по английски WiFi interface. Смотрим вывод lspci внимательно:
0000:06:05.0 Network controller: Intel Corp. PRO/Wireless 2200BG (rev 05)
отсюда вывод что карту он все таки показывает, равно как и в dmesg есть упоминание о карте
2. переходим к ndiswrapper
ищем драйвера для windows (желательно ХР или 2000 ) ищем там .inf файл и пишем
ndiswrapper -i ....inf
потом
ndiswrapper -l - показывает сообщение о загруженном драйвере и оборудовании
последний шаг по запуску модуля
depmod -a
и если нет ошибок
modprobe ndiswrapper
если все в порядке - не было никаких ошибок, предупреждений - с модулем закончили
проверяем наличие карты
iwconfig
должен отобразиться список беспроводных устройств.
iwlist <имя твоего устройства> scan
показывает список устройств, которые видны твоему.

отсюда вывод что карту он все таки показывает, равно как и в dmesg есть упоминание о карте
2. переходим к ndiswrapper
ищем драйвера для windows (желательно ХР или 2000 ) ищем там .inf файл и пишем
ndiswrapper -i ....inf
потом
ndiswrapper -l - показывает сообщение о загруженном драйвере и оборудовании
последний шаг по запуску модуля
depmod -a
и если нет ошибок
modprobe ndiswrapper
если все в порядке - не было никаких ошибок, предупреждений - с модулем закончили
проверяем наличие карты
iwconfig
должен отобразиться список беспроводных устройств.
iwlist <имя твоего устройства> scan
показывает список устройств, которые видны твоему.

Эта карта встроенная в ноуте.... К ней вопросов нет, работает без проблем... поднять нужно pheenet wl-2054g которая подключена к pcmcia, вот о ней никакой информации не выводится....

так что с картой? завелась или нет?
попадалось мне в интернете (не помню где правда) что для запуска prism чипа на usb карте надо было загрузить модуль prism2usb (modprobe prism2usb). Так же помню что был рядом модуль prism2pci, насчет prism2pcmci не уверен.....

в параметры загрузки. Зависит от того какой у тебя boot-loader: LILO или GRUB. Если GRUB - нажми e во время загрузки, добавь к списку параметров. Более полную информацию - используй поиск по форуму, тема поднималась не раз.

2 sarutobi спасибо тебе огромное! Просто я в gbub намудрил, счас исправил и адаптер определился! Я так понимаю это происходит потому что PCMCIA контроллер находится за PCI-PCI мостом...

Выгрузить соответствующий модуль ядра и убрать его из автозагрузки.
