Samba не видит принтер
Вообщем ситуация такая: у меня дома соединены по локалке 2 компа: мой и виндовый. Самба не видит принтер (при попытке настройки через центр управления), хотя комп с виндой видно отлично со всеми общими папками.

Подскажу, а дальше попробуй сам
Если не получица - пиши.
Раскоментируй строки:
printcap name = /etc/printcap
printing = cups

Прочитай статью, как составлять конфиг и что делает та или иная опция, мож ты что-то неправильно включил. Не пользуйся дефолтным конфигом, напиши свой.
Принтер сначала надо настроить в купсе, а затем расшарить в Самбе.

Хотел бы уточнить у автора темы - а принтер на Линуксовой или виндовой машине находится (физически)?

Кстати да. Если на Линуксовой - то делай как я сказал. Если на виндовой - то надо ковырять, скорее всего винду.

Тест самба-клиента : smbclient -L Имя_вин_машины -N
Опция -N - чтобы не просила пароля.
У меня выдает так:
