Немножко не в эту ветку, но уже отчаялся. поставил видюху, не могу прикрутить дрова. скачал с nvidia, но так и не понял чего не хватает при установке. Может подскажите какие именно пакеты необходимо доустановить в систему чтобы драйвер встал. По возможности распишите пошаговую установку.
З.Ы. старая верся драйвера из дистра не видит эту карточку

почему же, вполне в эту ветку
у альта нестандартное ядро. мэйби компилятор просто с ним работать не может
вариантов немного: обновиться на тот же сизиф или ставить самосборное ядро. или поглядеть в репозиторий backports
