Однажды у меня сломался монитор, и это привело к тому, что я купил новый.
Ранее был Samsung Syncmaster 171t (разрешение 1280х1024), который работал без нареканий и проблем в 16-битной и 24-битной палитре и целиком конфигурился через YaST. Его место сейчас занял WSXGA-монитор Samsung SyncMaster 215tw (разрешение 1680х1050), который YaST наотрез отказывается видеть, выдает сообщение, что все настройки доступны в режиме просмотра. nvidia-xconfig мгновенно настраивает на нормальное разрешение и 16-битную палитру. Смена глубины на 24 бита происходит через nvidia-settings (правда, я выбираю 32 бита, 24 выбрать нельзя, но потом все равно отображается как 24), переключение в 3 инит, затем обратно в 5 и все работает, за исключением переключения раскладок. Я использую сочетание Ctrl+Shift. Правлю это в SaX, применение настроек которого позволяет менять раскладки только через Shift+Ctrl, обратите внимание, что ТОЛЬКО в такой последовательности (в 16 битах работает нормально в обе стороны). Перезагрузка компа после всех операций (разрешение + глубина+ раскладка), приводит к внешнему виду 1280х1024 16 бит. Подозреваю, что две программы, пишущие xorg.conf чего-то друг другу трут, но с ходу разобраться не получилось... прикладываю нынешний xorg (16-битная палитра) и тот, что был сразу после загрузки компа. Очень хотел бы настроить 24-битную палитру с правильным разрешением с переключением раскладок, невосприимчивым к последовательности нажатия клавиш.
