хотелось бы Центр управления компьютером (федора после мандривы)

ну никак без него не разберусь.... не могу понять какие устройства определились, какие нет.... очень нужен жпрс модем (нокиа N93). Как флэшка работает, а дальше не могу разобраться куда смотреть.... Через настройку сети вроде модем видит но непонятно как соединение установить. Через kppp ничо не видит.... Вобщем я в замешательстве...

А на каком устройстве модем висит? Что-нибудь типа /dev/ttyUSB0 там может быть. Короче говоря это устройство и надо в kppp загонять, а если там такого нет в списке, то ссылочку символическую замутить надо вездесущего /dev/modem на ваше устройство.
А что касается центра управления полетами - мне нравится webmin (это что-то типа центра управления, но в браузере, зато можно и по сети).

Попозже погуглю.... а ещё варианты есть? Или хотяб чтоб устройства поглядеть.... YaST меня радует, думаю должно быть что-то похожее в красной шляпе...
