Решено: [Linux Mint] Терминал плюётся "умными мыслями" (как отключить?)

У меня установлена Linux Mint. Это по сути Ubuntu.
Так вот при запуске терминала (любого, даже по Ctrl+Alt+F1) на экран выводятся какие то цитаты и "умные мысли". Иногда довольно крупного размера.
Это не мешает, но немного бесит.

Как отключить, не подскажите?

это, наверно, программка fortune.
надо убрать ее запуск из ~/.bashrc
