[Ubuntu] Репозитории сторонних разработчиков (64 bit, несостыковка названий)

Добавил строчку:

deb http://ftp.debian.org sarge main

При попытке подкачать список выдает:

http://ftp.debian.org/dists/sarge/main/bin...64/Packages.gz: 404 Not Found

Что совершенно естественно, т.к. на http://ftp.debian.org/dists/sarge/main/ есть папка binary-ia64, а не binary-amd64.
uname -a:

Linux pubuntu 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Sun Oct 14 21:45:15 GMT 2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Не посоветуете что-нибудь? Уж очень хочется поставить gprsec из репозиториев, а так же astromenace, tuxracer и т.п. чего нету в репозиториях ubuntu...

Если ты хочешь подключить какие-то сторонние репозитории, то подключай те, которые предназначены именно для Ubuntu, а не для Debian, иначе могут быть проблемы. Список разных репозиториев для Ubuntu можно найти в инете.

к тому же, не следует путать архитектуру ia64 с amd64.
amd64 поддерживается дебианом, начиная с etch - http://www.debian.org/ports/amd64/

Adding extra repositories

It is possible to add extra repositories, such as those provided by third parties or those for older version of Ubuntu.

Be careful when installing software from third-party repositories. It may not have been tested with Ubuntu and could cause your system to break.

1. Open System в†’ Administration в†’ Software Sources and press Third-Party Software.
2. Press Add to add a new repository.
3. Enter the APT line for the extra repository. This should be available from the website of the repository or similar, and should look similar to the following:

deb http://ftp.debian.org sarge main

4. Press Add Source and then click Close to save your changes.
5. Click Reload in the package manager to update the list of available packages.

Инфа оттуда Я так понял. что просто меняем sarge на etch Верно?
