Такая проблема, имею мать ASUS P5GD1-VM c чипсетом ICH6. Стоят три sata винчестера на sata канале и пишущий привод с ide винчестером на pata. В биосе соответственно стоит Enhanced mode SATA+PATA.
Пробовал установить очень много разных дистрибутивов (Debian, ubuntu, Suse, RH) встал без приседаний с драйверами только mandriva free 2008, правда с опцией acpi=off.
Но, вот собственно и проблема, после перезагрузки нет устройств которые сидят на pata канале, хотя в fstable они прописаны.
При загрузке есть несколько подозрительных строк в логе,
Кто знает как вылечить эту проблему, прошу помочь.
