потоковое видео с вебкамеры (чтобы по сети смотреть.)

Захотелось странного.

Имеется тачка, на ней gentoo 2007.0/amd64.
Купил Genius Look 316
Собрал модуль для ведра, поднялось, пишет:

Хочется гнать с него видео в сеть. Как???

а как:
1) выводить на веб-страницу snapshot веб-камеры в текущий момент (поток не нужен: clean statical image)
2) сохранять на диск выборочные кадры с веб-кам - например каждые 30сек ?

т.е. основной вопрос: если ли приблуды для обращения/доступу к frame-buffer ?

В пакет xawtv входит webcam - тулза по конфигу заранее написанному дёргает имейдж и может заливать его куданить по ftp/scp. т.е. например можно постоянно гнать картинку на сайт ака http://examle.org/image.jpg

XawtV выдает такую ошибку и не хочет запускаться.
