Доброго всем времени суток! Настраиваю карточку по инструкции:

В принципе всё идет нормально до момента:
SKIP_CHECKS=yes compiz
После этого консоль подвисает с таким вот текстом:

Естественно визуальные эффекты не включаются, вываливается сообщение:

З. Ы. Да, и ещё, при вводе команды glxgears не видно шестерёнок, а только ФПСки в консол
