D-200 работа по протоколу PPPoA (Не могу настроить работу модема на этом протоколе)

Приветствую, работаю с линукс совсем не давно так что прошу больно не бить, значит ОС Мандрива 2008 и модем D-link D-200 vGeneretion II, качал под него дрова типа eciadsl но проблема в том что я незнаю какой мне из них нужен, и как вообще его настроить, под видозом он работает на протоколе PPPoA, а описание настроек встречал только на PPPoE, и у меня смутное сомнение что система вообще не монтирует модем так как в оборудовании даже неизвестных устройств нет, как это можно проверить? надеюсь на скорую помошь.

По этой ссылке есть руководство по настройке этого модема (с конкретными настройками соединения вам скорее всего придется разбираться самостоятельно), возможно поможет + на форуме поищите, было несколько тем об этом D-Link'е.

Точно D-200? Может модель надо точно называть, а?

Это он? DSL-200 Внешний ADSL-модем для шины USB (Устаревшая модель - снята с производства).

В любом случае сюда вывод:
lsusb
или
lsusb -v
или
lsusb -vv

не помешает
dmesg | tail

Под рутом:

tail -f /var/log/messages

Подключая - отключая модем смотреть сообщения.

Останов tail -f /var/log/messages - Ctrl+C

Модем точно тот, нащет выпускают или нет это я не в курсе, но это точно он, могу сфотать и скинуть.
Да ещё, eciadsl 10-й версии встал, но не работает: по команде esiadsl-start грит неизвестная команда, а более новые версии не встают пишет: Некоторые запрошенные пакеты не могут быть установлены:eciadsl-usermod-0.12-1.i386 (из за неудовлетворенности tcl) Всеравно продолжить установку, жму да, но он соответствено ничего уже не ставит...
