Kubuntu после Windows (Нет выбора системы)

Такая проблема - установил kubuntu через boot. установка прошла успешно, ну в конце как обычно попросил вынуть диск. а после перезагрузки у меня в наглую запускается винда без возможности выбора, хотя с LiveCD я вижу, что кубунта у меня встала нормально.

Загрузитесь с LiveCD и приведите то, что записано в /boot/grub/menu.lst - будем смотреть. Да, и геометрию диска опишите, пожалуйста, на всякий случай.

А как выложить геометрию диска - Я ХЗ. Однако знаю что древо идёт так "Volume (ext3) > boot > grub"

У тего ноут наверное с защитой MBR, которая отключается в BIOS

либо просто GRUB прописался не в MBR, а в раздел диска с Kubuntu (обычно на этапе установки можно выбрать место инсталляции GRUB)

Ты прав. У меня grub сейчас находится на диске hda7 (Volume linux). А как я могу изменить или восстановить GRUB в MBR?

БЛИНННННН! Попытался изменить настройки рабочего стола и у меня теперь после загрузки KDE весь экран черный. ВЫРУЧАЙТЕ ПЛЗЗ! Как вернуть стандартные настройки??
