upgrade arch + xorg problems

Последний месяц играюсь с арчем. Естественно обойти стороной testing репозиторий не удалось, вследствии чего имею некоторые проблемы.

Проблема заключается в том, что после обновления не стартуют иксы. Красным выделил непонятный для меня момент лога. Вывод команды startx:

В качестве WM использую OpenBox. До обновления ни ошибок(EE) ни предупреждений(WW) не было. Работало все как часы.


Лог обновления после которого перестали грузиться иксы. Красным я выделил, те обновления на которые я грешу.

Видео карта у меня nvidia mx440. Драйвер для него nvidia-96xx.
Вроде бы все отписал.


Теперь собственно сам вопрос, как побороть эту проблему? Какие есть варианты? Возможен ли откат до предыдущего рабочего состояния, при том, что у меня все пакеты остались в кеше?

и соответственно исправляем xorg.conf.


Я был бы рад, если было бы все так просто. При исправлении конфига вылазиют другие экзотические ошибки. Цель разобраться в проблеме и привести в рабочее состояние иксы.

А так, спасибо за наводку, но все таки не то.

Кстати, кто подскажет, как откатиться до предыдущей версии из extra репозитория?

У меня xorg из testing работает.
Перед RgbPath поставь #.
Пробуй

К чему стадам дары свободы? Их должно резать или стричь.

Копать, думаю, надо в сторону этой новости на заглавной странице арча:
xorg-server 1.5RC6 enters testing

Xorg-server 1.5RC6 (1.4.99.906) enters tesing. This version of xorg-server includes input hotplugging using hal, better EXA support and less memory usage. Note that this version requires an upgrade of all videodrivers. All videodrivers shipped with X.Org have been rebuilt to reflect this change. Nvidia drivers don't seem to need a rebuild, while AMD's catalyst drivers don't support the new X.Org ...
