т.е. должна бать регулировка 2000\3000. Но на gkrellm вижу всегда в районе 3ГГц. Вопрос, что из этого всего врет?

Меня это немного шокировало в своё время. Core 2 Duo с общим кэшем на 2 ядра. Но! Как они умудрились регулировать частоту ядер отдельно? Или это глюк? Забавно наблюдать, как прыгают индикаторы частоты. Кстати, это навело на мысль, что планировщик ядра специально перекидывает задачи с ядра на ядро, чтобы процессор в целом меньше грелся (успевало рассеиваться тепло от АЛУ).
Лично меня давно интересует другая возможность Core 2 Duo E8400. Из технических описаний известно, что процессор для экономии энергии может вообще отключать одно ядро. Пока мне не удалось заставить его это сделать.
