Пишу потому что иссякли мысли. И так установка:
USE="cups jpeg ppds tiff" emerge cups splix
(splix содержит дрова для моего принтера, узнал Отсюда )
Пробовал также делать emerge ghostscript psutils
не помогает.
Добавляю след. образом:
включаю, захожу на localhost:631 -> Find New Printers -> Add -> (имена, драйвер Xerox Phaser 3117 выбираю) -> Просит ввести логин/пасс (как понимаю рутовские) ввожу добавляет.
Добавляет во вкладку Printers. В вкладке Administration где Printers пусто.
Пытаюсь распечатать пробный лист:Printers-> Print Test Page
На что он отвечает:
Error:
Unsupported format 'application/postscript'!
И вот это вынудело попробовать поставить разные psutils, ghostscript и т.д. не помогло (LogLevel debug)

Отсюда и вопрос как сделать, что бы он начал понимать этот формат?
