rp-pppoe (не могу установить в Sabayon 4.0)

Хочу настроить выход в интерент DSL.
Скачал rp-pppoe, configure прошел нормально, а make вот выдал:

emerge -pf rp-pppoe выдаст файлы, которые нужно скачать (для каждого - по несколько вариантов ссылок, через пробел). Их нужно поместить в каталог с дистфайлами, в gentoo это /usr/portage/distfiles, в сабайоне - не помню, введите emerge --info | grep DISTDIR, он скажет. После этого emerge rp-pppoe установит его без интернета.

В sabayon'е 4, как и в ранних версиях дистрибутива уже есть средства настройки pppoe (rp-pppoe-3.10-r1).

Не знаю, какой вариант установки выбрали, но из-под рута попробовать стоит

Потренироваться можно и с liveDVD.

P.S. gentoo практически сразу отучает от configure-make-make install. Никогда не стоит торопиться . Читайте документацию по своему дистрибутиву.

Под рутом pppoe-setup запускали? Установку по дефолту делали?

emerge ничего не даст, пока вы не синхронизировали дерево портежей (emerge --sync), ибо в sabayon'е "искаропки" пакетами управляет entropy и spritz.
Попробуйте для начала настроить сеть с liveDVD, там 100% rp-pppoe стоит, и скачать необходимый ebuild и дистфайлы.

Поправочка. Настроить сеть в любом liveCD/DVD, chroot-нуться в свою систему и установить все что нужно. Наиболее логичный способ.

На лайвСД тоже нету, видимо это потому что я скачал LiteMCE версию, может кто нить сделает emerge -pf rp-pppoe и мне в личку выложит ссылки на файл? возможно ли так?

liteMCE, даже исходя из названия - лёгкий мульти-медиа центр. Там может и не быть.

Исходники надо положить в /usr/portage/distfiles

Вот ссылка на ebuild
Его надо положить в
/usr/portage/net-dialup/rp-pppoe/

И сделать оттуда
# ebuild rp-pppoe-3.10-r1.ebuild manifest

После этого можно смело
# emerge rp-pppoe

P.S. По-моему понадобятся ещё хидеры ядра, но они даже в liteMCE есть, в отличии от rp-pppoe (проверил).

Зашел в .unmask там прописал net-dialup/rp-pppoe, не помгло, потом погуглил по masked by: corruption вроде говорят в таких случаях ebuild кривой.. можно ли где еще ebuild скачать?))

тока pppoe-setup отработал как надо, pppoe-start говорит мол все пучком, коннект есть, pppoe-status говорит что айпишник есть, но пинги во внешнюю сетку(дальше модема) не проходят.
По умолчанию не было файла resolv.conf, добавил - результат тот же.
Интересно, что смотрел статистику из под винды у своего провайдера - было множество попыток подключения с трафиком вх/исх 0Мв

Не, я всё понимаю, у вас sabayon, а не gentoo... Но он же на gentoo основан! Так что если не хватает графических сабайоновских средств, читайте джентушный хендбук!!! Там всё написано, и про настройку сети тоже.

Sabayon = gentoo-stage4+entropy. Всё. Sabayon - это gentoo!
И, действительно, помощь надо искать в первую очередь в хэндбуке!

Погуглил, нечего не нашел, что делать нужно? удалить конфликтующие пакеты?

это ни как на систему не повлияет боком?

Решение "в лоб":

удалить/переименовать/переместить
/usr/share/tkpppoe

Решение "не в лоб":

# equery b /usr/share/tkpppoe

покажет какому пакету принадлежит tkpppoe, решить нужен он или нет этот пакет, если не нужен то emerge -C

P.S. FEATURES="collision-protect" - это как раз для того, чтобы чтобы один пакет при сборке/установке не стирал/изменял файлы других пакетов.

Все заработало, только одно но..после pppoe-start приходиться прописывать

что бы заработал интернет и как сделать что бы при включении компа default сетевухой была eth0 а не eth1(вариант выдернуться eth1 как крайний)

PS: есть ли какой мануалчик на русском описывающий команды штатного entropy/equo, ну там команда для обновления системы, установки пакета и т.д...?

оказывается пакет tkpppoe и есть собственно очень удобная оболочка АКА rp-pppoe
После добавления необходимых учетных записей для доступа в инет, в каталоге /etc/ppp/rp-pppoe-gue создаются все необходимые конфиги
отсюда лично я делаю вывод - не надо изобретать велосипед, достаточно изучить все возможность нового дистрибутива.
