GeForce 8600 GT

Видеокарта: GeForce 8600 GT
Монитор: LG L1970HR
Система: Fedora 10
Cуть проблемы: оставил с репозитория проприетарные драйвера нвидиа. дал команду nvidiax, чтобы сконфигурировать xorg.conf. При команде glxinfo выдает ошибку:
"name of display: :0.0
Error: glXCreateContext failed"
Может кто встречался с такой проблемой и знает как решать - подскажите!

Команда не nvidiax, а nvidia-xconfig.

Еще нужно глянуть в /var/log/Xorg.0.log
Может там (EE) или (WW) какие-нибудь наведут на мысль...
А зачем нужна опция "AIGLX" "on" в xorg.conf? И где секция Module, в которой обычно написано Load "glx" и т.п. (хотя, может оно по умолчанию само грузится...)

Спасибо за ответ. То есть если везде X.Org Foundation заманить на NVIDIA Corporation, то все норм работать будет? или это просто лог действий и нао сами драва править?

/var/log/Xorg.0.log - это конечно же лог.
Скорее всего нужно драйвер переставить.

Устанавливал другу Fedora 10, у него правда GeForce 5200 FX, но после установки была точно такая же проблема. Решилось простым обновлением системы.

Внимательно читайте логи. У вас вообще модуль nvidia собрался?
