есть вопрос: установил данную программу - ей можно чуть чуть поковырять систему. там есть вкладка - сторонние репы... интерсная вещь показалась - полез туда. нащелкал интерсные программы.... потом смотрю список реп у себя, а там прописаны новые не для 8.10, а 8.04. почему так? ведь скачал последнюю версию данной программы... вроде как должно быть для 8.10 длбавлять... намучался потом все востанавливая...

пс 1 нюанс: у меня минт 6 - но это же убунту 8.10...

1) что мешает вручную подправить sources.list?
2) в сторонних репозиториях может не быть поддержки 8.10

сам факт мешает - если есть - должно работать - иначе грош цена всему.
смотрел репы - поддержка 8.10 есть там... но упорно 8.04 ставит.

прошу проверить кто юзает 8.10 данную программу

если уверены, что поддержка для 8.10, замените в sources.list с hardy на intrepid

или вопрос все таки конкретно про какую-то глючную утилиту

вопрос был почему так :-) видимо все таки потому что МИНТ у меня, и хоть он на базе 8.10 собран, но данная утилита видет ее иначе... загрузил читсую 8.10 на ВМ - прогу и все нормально там...
