If the request size is already small, it's possible that it is less than your kernel's SHMMIN parameter, in which case raising the request size or reconfiguring SHMMIN is called for.

Поглядел параметры ядра:
root@tuxxx:/home/vovec# sysctl -a | grep shm
kernel.shmmax = 268435456
kernel.shmall = 2097152
kernel.shmmni = 4096
На компьютере стоит 1Гб оперативки и swap 1 Гб. Я полагаю из этого и складывается kernel.shmall = 2097152 Это ведь в килобайтах?
Откуда тогда берется kernel.shmmax = 268435456? Я ядро не перекомпилировал. Это теоретически максимально возможный размер для Linux чтоли?
А Postgres у меня просит 39 мегабайт? Так и чего же ему не хватает?
