Unix shell аналог команды source в csh (..)

Начал переписывать скрит в csh на shell..
Встретилась такая строка как:

source  $HOMEDIR/sf.out

почитал так
hp csh пишут:

The source command can be used to force an update of the current shell environment by causing it to read commands from a file instead of standard input. For example:


source .cshrc

can be used after editing your .cshrc file to change any variables that you modified. Note that commands executed from the specified file are not placed in the history buffer; only "source command_file" is.

есть ли что нить аналогичное в sh и если есть как называется?

Есть два варианта: source и ..

и можно чуть подробнее про ..??
чёт я мб туплю это мб просто типа?
. $HOMEDIR/setLalal.sh например? нет?

усё допёр я кажись спасибо всем просто с csh плохо знаком)
