Добрый вечер.
Хотелось бы узнать у знатаков и старожил системы Debian.
Имеется ноутбук с видеокартой ati 4330 и со встроенной intel.
Вопрос в том, Что хочется продлить жизнь старичку ноутбуку, установил Debian 8, но тут https://wiki.debian.org/ATIProprietary#wheezy-legacy пишут о том, что семейство 4000 уже не поддерживается новым каталистом.
Подскажите как мне установить нужный драйвер на Debian 8. С гуглом дружу, но гугл со мной не дружит.
Я готов самостоятельно изучить вопрос, дайте только ссылок.

А на фига Вам именно каталист (точнее fglrx)? radeon не устроит?
Что-то не работает или работает не так, как хотелось бы, сразу после установки?

Например помотреть /var/log/Xorg.0.log.
