Переход со stable на testing

Перехожу со Slackware на Debian.

Установил sarge. Как перейти со stable на testing? Сорри, поиском не нашел вразумительного ответа. Ответьте плиз подробнее. Тему можно даже прикрепить, чтобы было меньше вопросов у новичков.

Впиши в сурс.лист (/etc/apt/sources.list) тестинг репозиторий и обновляйся.

Неправда. По умолчанию всегда берётся самая свежая версия любого пакета; а в тестинге они всяко будут свежее стейбла. Это если ещё и анстейбл подключать -- тогда нужна эта строчка.

Что-то у меня не получается его собрать.

иногда помогает обновление GCC и libc6 ...

хотя нет ... у тя ncurses стоят?
