XF86Config-4 без DDC на Debian 3.0

Такая проблемка, пытаюсь в секции Monitor прописать такую строку:
ModeLine "LGT710PH" 43 640 656 720 754 480 481 484 500
Так вот разрешение устанавливается в 1280x1024 вместо желаемого 640х480...
Я так понимаю это автоматическая настройка DDC рубит мои конфиги...
как мне заставить работать с моей строкой...
в этой же секции нормально прописаны частоты монитора 30-88 для горизонтали и 50-160 для вертикали...
Пожалуйста ткните в ман если я пропустил...

раз задаешь частоты с помощью modeline, так закомментируй horizsync и vertrefresh.

чтобы убрать ddc, зкомментируй "Load "ddc""

Сделал что посоветовали, но результат тотже 1280х1024 75Hz... вот новый конфиг. Что ещё может быть не так? а как вы настраивали чтобы у вас было 100Hz при нужном разрешении?

тогда смотри в логе, почему оно твой режим отбрасывает.
а modeline'ы мы Ж:-) уже лет так несколько не настраиваем. LCD монитор и ddc хватает за глаза Ж:-)))

Пытался читать лог... но несмог найти почему именно мой режим не хочет... зато кажется там пишется что всё таки используется DDC и устанавливается режим именно с него, хотя я модул закоментировал... пробовал вставлять опцию Option "noDDC" "On" - не помогает
может вы что-нибудь дельное в логе найдёте. буду очеь признателен...

а потом, оно cамо хочет использовать 100Hz для режима "640х480"

у меня вопрос по поводу того что он не знает моего заданного режима...

я же ведь его задаю в XF86Config-4... почему он его не видит? А по поводу твоего предложения, я уже так делал... но толко если я захочу 1024х768 надо писать modeline... а то он мне 85 герц предлагает... или я ошибаюсь?
