у меня после установки твоего пакета - все наоборот вывалилось - стало грузиться дольше, шрифты тоже полетели. Я вообще придумал решение - установить вначале wine-etersoft - по инструкции из прикрепленной на этом подфоруме темы, оставить папку .wine и потом поставить последний wine.
Сейчас подметил кое-что интересное. Папку .wine в /home/user не меняю. Если установить wine-etersoft - в qip корректное отображение шрифтов, если последний wine - криво. Посмотрел какие шрифты идут в пакете libwine(етерсофтовская сборка) - скопировал, потом поптался поставить на обычный wine - не помогло.
....
В общем глюк заключался в отображении одного шрифта - которым выводятся в кипе ники в контакт-листе, некоторые буквы(широкие) обрезались по ширине. Я уже какие-только файлы из етерсофтовской сборки не дергал в wine 0.9.53 - ничего не помогало. Отчаявшись решил поставить предыдущую версию - 0.9.52 - и как ни странно заработало. В чем может быть дело не понятно, надо разобраться.

Насколько я знаю, все эти продукты, кроме, кажется, шрифтов, значатся как redistributable. То есть их можно распространять вместе с программным обеспечением, для работы которого они требуются.
А для установки требуется обладать действующей лицензией на любую винду.

P.S. Но я не уверен на счет разрешенности распространения в виде отличном от собранных микрософтом дистрибутивов. (Говорю про виндовые библиотеки. С мозилкой тут все в порядке, на счет шрифтов от этерсофта - не в курсе.)

Ну тут, разговор идет как раз за тех, "кому лень все вручную ставить". Иными словами: "у меня есть пирацкая винда, я с нее выдернуть должен то-то и то-то и поставить туда-то". Т.е. получить поддержку Windows-приложений на машине, на которой нет этой самой Windows. Абсолютно законно, не покупая лицензионную Windows, сделать такое не получится.

А этот пакет просто облегчит подобный труд, имхо. 

PS: кстати, надо перечитать Соглашение от M$ на предмет использования части его кода (т.е. библиотек) в сторонних приложениях в отрыве от самой Windows. Я почему то уверен, что этот вариант описан.

* Разделение компонентов.

Продукт лицензируется как единое изделие. Запрещается отделять от него составляющие его части для раздельного использования на нескольких компьютерах.

Так что наличие самой лицензии не дает право нарушать ее, выдергивая из "единого изделия" компоненты в виде библиотек. По DX можно, в принципе, тоже почитать - наверняка есть такие же ограничения.
