В общем в данный момент я занимаюсь настройкой VPS сервера (тренеруюсь на домашнем серваке) и у меня появилось пара вопросов:
1. Как я понял на OpenVZ могут быть только Linux оси, а на xen как Linux так и *BSD оси
2. Что надёжнее и стабильнее?
3. Что потребляет меньше ресурсов?
Думаю на первой стадии пока всё.

http://www.hpl.hp.com/techreports/2007/HPL-2007-59R1.pdf -- OpenVZ побыстрее будет, что вполне логично -- одно ядро и виртуализация на его уровне. Правда, одно ядро -- это минус OpenVZ -- нет возможности запускать системы, отличные от OpenVZ, да и если ядро упадёт, то упадёт всё.

Я поставил xen и теперь пытаюсь создать вртуалку вот логи:
и тишина, это значит что оно стаивтся или нет?
